Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

My dad as Santa Clause

Christmas is a wonderful time of year. I can't believe that this day has come and gone already. I still feel like we should have another few months till its Christmas. This Christmas has been amazing and I have so much to be grateful for!!
1. The birth of our Savior!! I think a lot of people especially me get caught up in buying, giving, and receiving gifts; food; time off; friends; parties; Santa and much more that comes along with the holiday season that we forget about the true meaning of Christmas. It is a time to remember our Savior and all he has done for us!! He gave us the atonement which I am so thankful for because I know I am far from perfect. It is nice knowing that I can always repent and be forgiven for my sins. I am so grateful for the birth of our Savior and I am grateful for Christmas to come so I can be reminded of it and how important it really is. My friend Minni sent me a picture the other day. It is a picture that they found in the Provo tabernacle after it burnt down. My brother in law brought it up again today and we got into a conversation about how the Savior is ALWAYS there. Here is the picture.
2. My Family!! It has been so nice to be able to come home and spend the time I have with my family. I really do love them and am so blessed to have them all in my life. When my family gets together it is like a circus. The kids running around going crazy and tons of jokes going on. If anyone knows my family they know they are very sarcastic and love making fun of each other. I always die laughing when I am with everyone. We always get together and have food and just chat. This year for Christmas Santa Clause got Just Dance 2 for the Wii. Oh can I just tell you how much my family loved this. Everyone in my family got up and had to do at least one song. It was very entertaining and funny especially since no one in my family really has rhythm. We spent hours playing the game. After, being with them just once it makes me realize how much I miss being home with them! I love my family!!

3. Gifts!! I am so grateful for the opportunity to give and receive gifts this holiday season. I love giving gifts and seeing the excitement on the people's face when they open the presents. My favorite thing is to watch my nieces and nephews open gifts because they get soo excited!! My family since we are so big every year picks names to see who we will be getting a present for. This year I got my brother Matt. I asked him what he wanted and all he kept telling me was a house so I came up with a brilliant plan. I printed off an flyer for a house then but an I O U $5 (toward your house) note in the envelope and gave it to him!! haha don't worry I gave him a shirt from American Eagle too! My sister Adina had me. She gave me a shirt which I guess all my sister's and Sister in law have so we were thinking about wearing it all on the same day! lol NEVER would happen!! Also, she gave me these frames that are all connected together with pictures of my nieces and nephews in it. The pictures are hilarious and I love all my nieces and nephews! I am so excited to hang it up in my room at school. Santa brought me gloves and money!! My parents then got me gift card to nordstrom and some perfume!! I didn't really care or feel like I needed any gifts but I am so grateful and excited for the ones I got!!

There are many more things that I am so grateful for during this Holiday season but it would be the longest post ever if I kept going. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas because I definitely did!!

School is OUT!!

Finally, after one long semester school is out and it is winter break!! This semester was probably one of my hardest semesters since starting college. My psychology stats teacher was like out to get Minni and me in making sure we wouldn't pass. We definitely proved him wrong even with missing because of soccer I was able to pull off an A-. I would say that is pretty dang good considering at the first of the semester he said a C and B were good grades. Also, after we told him that we were going to miss for soccer all he told was "good luck." It reminded me of the guy that said it on the movie Taken!! After he said that I knew I was going to work my butt off to get a good grade and it definitely paid off. I ended up with an A- in behavioral neuroscience but I ended up with A's in the rest of my classes. This semester I had room to take bowling so I definitely signed up!! It was probably the best idea I had. The class consisted of going twice a week and bowling two games. I improved my average and the bowling teacher taught me how to improve my game. lol I can't remember what my highest score was but I think it was around 190 or something!! I LOVE bowling!!! I hope to be on a bowling league when I am older like my mom and aunts.
The other classes that I had were Human Development, Sports Psychology, Adult Aging (such a boring class), and Soccer (love that I get a credit for playing soccer). Overall it was a great semester and I am definitely way happy about my grades. I don't want to even think about next semester....its going to be HORRIBLE!!! What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? haha Now I am going to forget all about school and just enjoy spending time with family and friends!!

Soccer

I can't believe it my junior year of soccer is over!! It was a way fun season and I loved my teammates. We ended up taking third in our conference which is good but we should have done a lot better. In the end it was a really exciting season and there was definitely some rough, intense, fun, exciting, disappointing, and enjoyable times. There were many memories made that i won't forget from this year. I made (with the help of my bro) a video of pictures for our team banquet of some of the amazing times we had as a team. I definitely will miss my seniors! They were amazing and I loved playing and hanging out with them!! It was a great year and I can't believe I will be a senior next year!! Here is the video I made!!

It's been FOREVER!!!

Ok I know it has been forever since I have blogged but my life has finally slowed down a little bit so I decided I would update my blog. My goal is to try and stay on top of blogging now. I don't even know where to begin so I will just start from August and give ya a little preview what has happened in my life.

1. The last week in July I quit my job at Krave Self-Serve Yogurt. I had worked there all summer and with soccer starting I wouldn't have been able to keep it. It was a super fun job and I loved it most of the time especially the people I worked with.

(1st day of work)

2. I got to go home the whole first week of August before soccer started. It was probably the best week of summer. I was able to see my family, hang out with friends, see movies, go to the real game, watch my nieces and nephews soccer games, swim, and just have lots of fun!!

3. The second week in August is when soccer started. It is what has been consuming my life the past few months. I love everything about it and I love the girls I play with. The season hasn't gone as good as I expected it to but it definitely has been way fun. We have had many road trips that have been crazy but way fun. We have gone to Vegas, Montana, San Fran, and Arizona. We are almost done and only have 4 games left. That is way weird to think about that I only have 4 games left of my junior year. Time definitely flies when you are having fun!!

4. The second thing consuming my life right now is school. It started the end of August and it definitely has been my hardest semester so far. I am majoring in Psychology and I am trying to graduate with my bachelors by the end of next fall.

5. I have been just having fun hanging out with my roommates, friends, and soccer team. We do the most random things which are way fun. We have gone to the fair, gone to dinner multiple times, bonfires, scoot scoot rides, camping, made music videos, bowling, movies, played baseball, and any other crazy thing that you can think of we have done!! If I put up all the pictures it would go on for ages but here is just a few of the things we have done.

6. My birthday was October 8th and I turned the big 21!! It was the best birthday I have ever had!! First, Jeremiah surprised me and decorated my room. Second, my roommates made the traditional birthday sign for me. Third, I got to go home. Fourth, my roommates gave me the best present ever...Nike Frees. The ones I have wanted for like a year. Fifth, I got to see my family. I love them and love spending time with them. Sixth, I went to dinner with a bunch of friends. Seventh, I got to see my best friend since before preschool because he got back from his mission. Finally, the best part ever was that I got to see my best friend Lauren get engaged!! It definitely topped the night off and I freakin love her and Chris (her fiancee). It was so cute he did it outside of my house and I about died when he did it. The cutest thing ever and I am so excited for them!!! I will have do a separate blog just about them and how it came to be.
So pretty much those are the main events that have happened in the past few months. They definitely have kept me busy but everything has been way worth it. I can't wait for the times to come because this year has been amazing!!

Welcome to Whitty Words
Hey I decided (well Nick and Juli decided) that I should start a blog! Juli was nice enough to get me started. I am currently living in St. George. I am going to Dixie State College and I am playing soccer for the women's team here. I just finished summer school which is such a relief but only to find out I have a month off before I start school up this fall. I plan to fully take advantage of this month off. I start soccer up on August 9th and I can't wait. I am excited to start playing again and for everyone to move back down here. It should be a really good season

Never go through life without goals
